“I thought I chose this work, but it was the children — my daughter, my students, the ones who couldn’t yet speak — who chose me. Through their struggles and their smiles, they showed me what it means to grow, to hope, and to keep showing up with heart.”

About Diana Telleria

Hi, I'm Diana Telleria, the Early Intervention Child Development Specialist at Developmental Exceptional Education (DEE).

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to working with children — especially those who need a little extra support to thrive. I hold a Master’s in Early Childhood Special Education. I've had the pleasure and opportunity to work with children and their families in educational and therapeutic settings for the past 30+ years. My passion is early intervention, and my mission is to empower children ages 0–3 to reach their full developmental potential.

This work is not just my profession — it’s deeply personal. I’m also the proud adoptive mother of a daughter who has a disability. Navigating her challenges has been one of the most humbling and transformative experiences of my life. It’s given me firsthand understanding of the emotional toll, the daily victories, and the profound importance of early support and guidance.

Joining DEE is the fulfillment of a lifelong dream — to create a nurturing space where families feel seen, supported, and empowered. I believe that with the right tools, compassionate guidance, and a whole lot of heart, every child can grow into their unique greatness.

Thank you for being here. I’d be honored to work alongside you and your child on this journey of development and discovery.

I am so grateful for Ms. Diana’s wonderful impact on my son, a second grade foreign English learner. Her class is a really positive and joyful environment where learning feels like an adventure. Ms.Diana has a remarkable talent for making lessons engaging and fun, which has ignited a genuine love for the language in my son. Thank you Ms.Diana again for your dedication and passion!

My son was fortunate to have Ms. Diana as his preschool teacher, and I can’t say enough good things about her. She truly cared about my child and was always attentive to his needs. It was clear every day that she had his best interest at heart.

Her classroom was always extremely clean ( her classroom was spotless), well-organized, and full of creativity. She built an amazing learning environment with a variety of stations and multiple hands-on activities that kept the children engaged and excited to learn.

I deeply appreciate the way she combined care, structure, and creativity in everything she did. My son thrived under her guidance, and I’m very grateful he had such a thoughtful and dedicated teacher…

Having early intervention from Diana to my son was totally the best thing I will never regret. Diana help him in his social, emotional and cognitive development. Having to be expose to early literacy awake his love for reading and help him to develop a better cognitive skills trough out the years. Most of the interventions were done in Spanish at the beginning since this was his primary language then she stated incorporating little more of English by doing this he feel happy and confortable. As years have been going by my son has been really successful academically and he still maintains passion for books and Literacy I can assure part of his success is for all her love, dedicati…
